Winston David Hosbrough, Jr., 19, of Lebanon, SC, a senior at Berkeley High School, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, November 16, 2012.
His funeral will be 1:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, November 20, 2012, in the Christ Centered Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the Shield of Faith Church Cemetery, Goose Creek, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Christ Centered Fellowship Church, 1737 N. Main St., Summerville, SC 29483. In David's memory, the family asks everyone attending the services to please dress casual.
David was born August 2, 1993, in North Charleston, SC, a son of Winston D. Hosbrough, Sr., and Debra Baker Hosbrough. He was a member of the Christ Centered Fellowship Church, and he volunteered with the food bank both there and at the New Journey Community Church in Ridgeville. David enjoyed collecting Bibles, movies, and his dogs, but most of all, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Baker and Richard Hosbrough.
Surviving are, his parents of Lebanon; a sister, Morgan Hosbrough of Columbus, OH; his grandparents, Rosemary Baker of New Hope, Paul and Aleda Riviere of Forrest City, IL, and Joann Hosbrough of Metamora, IL; his great grandmother, Anna Turner-Young of Chicago, IL; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
